K Raheja Corp’s Raheja Vistas, Chandivali, gets IGBC Gold Rating
K Raheja Corp, one of India’s leading real estate conglomerates, has received a Gold rating, for their residential offering Raheja Vistas’s Building No. 39 at Chandivali, Mumbai. The widely recognised Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) which is a part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has awarded the company a total of 48 points under the IGBC Green Homes Rating Programme. The report is determined by categories such as site selection and planning, water efficiency, energy efficiency, materials, indoor environmental quality, and innovation and design process as defined by IGBC.

K Raheja Corp properties have been the recipient of several key LEED and IGBC certifications in the past for their dedicated efforts in supporting the environment-friendly cause. This is reflected by the extensive green building footprint with a total of over 45.50 million sq-ft spread across the west and south of India that includes 29 commercial (commercial office & hotels) projects certified as Gold by LEED, six commercial (commercial office & a mall) projects that are pre-certified, seven residential projects that are certified, and four residential projects that are pre-certified by IGBC green homes.
Pioneering the industries’ responsibility towards contributing to a green society, K Raheja Corp signed a memorandum of understanding with the CII-Green Building Council to construct green buildings, back in 2007.
