If you have to work on a holiday to meet an urgent deadline or delivery and put in at least 5 hours of work on that day, you will get a compensatory leave if you are in applicable grades. To help you in having a work life balance & to ensure that you avail a day off for the extra time you contribute for official work. Accrued compensatory leave may be used to avail a day/s off from work for any purpose.
